Futurework
New Ways of Thinking, Leading and Working

WATCH: Futurework introduction

“As a Futurist I’ve learnt that the future is all around us. By training our minds to flex and gain greater perspective, in the chaos and complexity of disruptive change it is possible to see critical signals that others miss. Giving leaders the capability to transform fear and apprehension about the unknown, into inspired action to create a greater future for us all today.

– Futurist Dave Wild

The Futurework Leadership Programme
is supported by the
Futurework Guidebook

The world of leadership has shifted. Exclusive, autocratic, anti-tech leadership is the past. Inclusive, collaborative, digital leadership is the future. However the future isn’t off in the distance – it’s here now. As a result, leading with impact in the modern workplace demands a new set of skills.

Welcome to Futurework.

Futurework is a leadership development programme, where you’ll learn and apply leading-edge Future of Work skills. The group format equips you with a Futurework toolkit, expert coaching with Futurist Dave Wild and the support and insight of other future-focused leaders.

As a foundational skill you’ll learn how to shift perspectives from a fixed mindset to a growth Mindleap. Discovering that digital leadership doesn’t require being a technology expert. Shifting from having to have all the answers, to knowing how to inclusively inspire and guide diverse teams forward.

Creating meaningful change doesn’t happen through thought alone. So you’ll then develop and apply within your organisation a set of critical Futurework skills…

  • Progressing forward with Visionary and Strategic frameworks

  • Leveraging resources with Inclusive and Digital capabilities

  • Expanding opportunities with Innovative and Collaborative methods

  • Actioning change with Adaptive and Impactful outcomes

By the conclusion of the Futurework programme you will have developed a leading-edge set of leadership skills for the modern workplace. Inspiring others with new possibilities. Shifting teams and projects forward. Upskilling your own capabilities and others around you.

Creating a greater future today.

The Inhouse Leadership Programme will equip you with:

Based on our Futurist experience working with C-Level and senior leadership teams, the content is ideal for executive development and high-potential leaders.

By applying your learnings to actual work activities during the programme, you learn and develop a critical set of eight Futurework Skills to meet the demands of the modern work environment…

Progressive Thinking

Visionary Leadership

Vision means to see. Develop your visionary ability to create clarity from complexity. Elevate your thinking to comprehend the big picture, while inspiring others to achieve greater outcomes.

Strategic Leadership

Strategy is a plan of action to achieve major aims. Learn how to develop strategic initiatives that energise and inspire in times of change, while accelerating forward ahead of fast-changing conditions.

Leveraged Thinking

Inclusive Leadership

Future-focused leaders surround themselves with diversity to energise themselves and their organisation, shifting and adapting to the changes all around us. Develop new skills for engaging with diverse communities for greater understanding and impact.

Digital Leadership

Artificial intelligence depends on machine learning – giving computers the ability to make themselves “smarter.” Increasing our human intelligence depends on our own ability to recode. Developing new thought patterns, shifting out-dated behaviour patterns. Learn how to hack your own thinking to more rapidly develop new digital skills.

Expansive Thinking

Innovative Leadership

Innovative, high-impact thinking goes beyond the predictable to create greater possibilities. Learn how to detect the signals of the future that are all around you. Developing new innovation skills to better adapt in fast-changing conditions.

Collaborative Leadership

Collaboration doesn’t simply mean teamwork. Collaboration involves pushing beyond your typical day-to-day interactions – which is why collaborators cross established boundaries. Learn how to align complex systems by co-creating outcomes with others – from ethnically-diverse customers to generationally-diverse colleagues.

Active Thinking

Adaptive Leadership

Adapting to changing conditions requires being comfortable with new ideas that don’t make sense at first. Learn how to lean into the discomfort to discover new ways forward. Adapting perspectives and associated decisions to shift with agility in ambiguous environments.

Impactful Leadership

Ideas are powerful. Sometimes. All too often they have little impact. Why? Because they remain as just ideas. Lost in a haze of meetings, discussions and reports. Develop your ability to create clarity and accelerate progress by making the intangible tangible. Shifting from great idea to powerful impact.

What I love most about Dave is his flexibility in adapting to the requirements of the culture of the organisation and the desired outcomes. He offers fresh perspectives and exposes you to global trends and innovations. Dave brings a huge array of tools and I have seen him take people through a journey where even people who don’t consider themselves to be creative or innovative start making connections and generating new ways of thinking to start doing things differently for their business.

My experience of Dave is that he inspires and delivers. One of his key strengths is his flexibility – he can work with a wide range of people and organisations and at different scales, timeframes and on disparate problem spaces. Nothing scares him, nothing bores him. Dave couples a high energy, hands-on and inclusive style with a sharp strategic brain. I have always had fantastic feedback about the impact that Dave has made.

Dave Wild is a genius. A futurist, strategist and provocateur. One of the things I love about his style is his ability to project thinking into the future in a pragmatic, relatable way – he connects the information to the audience, making the future relatable and relevant to their world. He is generous with his knowledge and keen to help other people navigate their path to better thinking.
